PMI-AGC Saudi Arabia Region, held its technical Presentation and dinner meeting on 20-July-2010 at Holiday Inn Al Qasr, Riyadh. The presentation topic was Strategic Quality Management in Projects and it was delivered by Mr. Muhammad Asim Baig. The presentation provided the attendees with unique insights into Strategic Quality Management (SQM), plus the participants were able to learn about the systematic approach for setting and meeting project goals, how to develop the strategic framework linking quality improvement efforts with project success and customer satisfaction, by properly harnessing project human and material resources. Apart for the above, the presentation also touched on Total Quality Management (TQM), the importance of creating project charters, project schedules and milestones as bases for improvements in TQM and how to eliminate common project mistakes and substantially improve quality in a project.
