The Project Management Institute - Arabian Gulf Chapter (PMI-AGC) will be conducting a 2.5-day workshop on “Effective Project Cost & Scheduling Workshop”. This workshop is scheduled on 29-31 October 2007, at the Coral International Hotel, Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The primary objective of this workshop is to provide the attendee with the best practices to plan, schedule, and control projects at all the stages of the project’s life cycle. Participants will learn pro-active techniques that can be applied to minimize or avoid cost/schedule overruns.  At the end of the workshop, the participants should be familiar with the basic concepts of planning and state-of-the-art scheduling techniques with an overview of practical computer applications. Most importantly, you will be introduced to the Critical Path Method and learn how to develop a CPM network.

PMP participants should be able to claim 18 PDUs for this course in support of their PMP continuing certification requirement.

The Project Management Institute - Arabian Gulf Chapter will be conducting a 5-day seminar on Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Exam Preparation. The seminar is scheduled from 28-Oct to 01-Nov 2007, at the Mövenpick Hotel, Muharraq, Kingdom of Bahrain.

The 5-day seminar will allow the participant to earn the 35-Contact Hours and meet the PMI Project Management Education requirement for the PMP Exam.  The seminar is based on the 3rd Edition of the PMBOK Guide.

The objectives of this seminar are to help participants to: Understand the PMP Certification requirements, prepare for its Certification Exam; and learn the skills, concepts, techniques and tools that will help participants to successfully manage their projects.  For additional information on the seminar and the Instructor, please see attached.

In addition to the training materials, each participant will be provided with a copy of the ‘PMBOK Guide 3^rd Edition’ (paper back) and a copy of the ‘Q&As for PMBOK Guide 3^rd Edition’.  Upon a successful completion of the program, each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion on the last day.
